About 3 weeks ago I noticed that one of my 9" suick thrillers was not performing properly. Its a 9" unweighted and doesn't swim right anymore. It performed well for a while, until I noticed on a cast that it would no longer sink, or swim properly. The bait is not broken or cracked, and can't figure out why it just floats now, and doesn't sink. Any of you guys ever have a similiar problem with the unweighted suicks. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks

Try tying heavy weight to it and soaking it in water for a while before using it, good luck.

Sounds like it was working for a while. Follow the above advise & look for any possible wood chips around screw eye where the line ties.

Thanks Guys. I will try all of the above. All great suggestions. Musky tackle is not cheap enough to trash, so I have to try anything to get this lure back to working order.
