Hi everyone,
I just recently moved to the wayne pa area from Massachusetts and wanted to get into musky fishing. I have some gear already and was looking for some insight on how to fish for musky in marsh creek lake or any tips in general. If anyone wants to go fishing sometime please let me know. Don't have any friends in the area and would like to make a new fishing buddy.

Welcome Corey. Throwing glide baits and bucktails deep along the weed edges are two succussful strategies right now. Of course everyone has their own ways to fish and catch muskies so thats just my opnion. Of course you'll need a boat to get out to the weed lines. You can catch a muskie from shore, it just will be a little tougher. The heat will be tough the next few days but if I'm going it will be early a.m. like fishing 5:00 a.m. until about 9:00. I'll PM you if I'm going but it will be a last minute decision as always.
We have a club meeting next Weds in Quakertown if you can make it. It's at Casey's Tavern.

Thanks for the great info ill definitely look into those baits. The meeting sounds like something I would like to attend also. As for fishing, I would love to get out there with you and experience these Muskies. Ill send you a pm with my email address so it will be easier to contact you. Welcome, Corey. Best tip I can give you is try to get to a meeting and get to know people. Before the meeting, introduce yourself to Chad, the president. Get involved. Will open all sorts of doors for you. Trust me. Good group of peeps that are willing to help. The Messageboard can't compete with the info you will learn from getting to know people, and participating in the movement to better the fishery. You'll see.
