I was doing the same thing last night...thought it would be on OLN. Hopefully my buddy taped it for me. I'll see if he did and then I'll burn the CD. Not to start a Comcast vs. Sat. debate but when it comes to HD, you can't beat Comcast right now. Next month I'm sure it will be the other way around but that's what I've learned so far.

I do give Comcast kudos for their digital effort (have family that work there - can't take food from the table). However, I think relative to satellite on a cost basis and programing content I am moving more towards satellite flexibility (plus the NFL package is soooo nice). And what happened to Comcast the In-Fisherman on demand library they used to have?? There are no more freeby fishing shows on demand.

Mercer Joe-

I miss those shows as well...they got me through last winter. Maybe they'll start them up again. Last week they did have a Canadian fishing show on "gators" or Northern Pike. Nice change from Bass and Florida fishing you catch on Saturday mornings. I need a life...

I saw those too. It was musky hour on OLN! Both shows were interesting although the MI guys really stressed the catch and release. The other show was Al Lindner.

We may only see what we look for.

Did anyone tape the show?? Sounds like some really good shows. Also if anyone has some muskie DVDs or VHS that they are willing to lend (I will either mail back / or deliver at the movie) please bring to the next meeting or let me know how I can pick up. Many thanks [[%&]]

Hey Guys don't miss this one,
3/03/05
Pete Maina and Dave Fornara of Esox Angler magazine team up with long-time muskie guide Mark Thorpe targeting early season muskies on the Ottawa River in Canada using some unique trolling presentations.
If you have Tivo I would suggest a season pass for this show.

Just watched (Thanks Arch!). These guys went to the Bob Jones school of trolling. 5.5 mph, 5' behind the boat.
I guess it really does work.

Excellent job Archie on the taping, thank you. I really do love the "Outdoor Channel" - we have since moved and have Patriot Cable, which carries the OC. I am even tempted to get a hunting license.... nah...

Wow! To think that our little ol' muskie chapter could get such notice. Arch, you should have charged $5 a download and sent them a raffle ticket!
