Unfortunately, I'm out for this year. I am really bummed about not be able to make it. I hope some of the newer guys step up and help out. It really is a fun day with the kids. Seeing their faces after catching probably their first fish, is worth it all in itself!
I have to work that day, or I would be there... Great day for the kids!

Oh by the way...Sabia...my grill is available to use...I know what a hit it was last year...!

Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big

OK, while we have such great auction traffic to the site, I figured I'd ask for volunteers for Kid's Day 2014.

We need 7-10 club members to make this great event a success. The park as well as the state PFBC Education Reps we work with think very highly of MI50 for coordinating this event for the kids. For those who can't help stock fish due to not having a boat and or not getting off work, this is a great chance to help out the club.

Besides volunteers, please look at the initial post in this thread for things we need. i.e., gas grill, bait & photographer.
So far we have:

1) Mike DiGuiseppe
2) Tom Sabia
3) Keith "Delaware Eyes"
4) Mr. Bubbles
5) Greg Ridge
6) Chris DeSignor
7) Jeremy Kern

I'll hit up cabelas for raffle prizes and bait again.

Jeremy,

Thanks. I already ordered (40) of the $2.99 trout magnet and some spinner kits from Cabelas. If you can get bait and a box of zebco combos like last year that would be great.

Thanks
Mike

Besides volunteers I also need to know name and age of any of your kids, niece's, nephew's, etc... who may be there. You can PM me or post them here.

Thanks

Dear Muskie Chapter:

My son, age 17, is an avid fisherman and is
interested in learning about muskie fishing.

Can someone tell us if the MI50 Kids Fishing Day
on the 29th is for younger kids, or if high school
teens are eligible.

If he is eligible, how can we register for the Fishing Day?

Thanks,

The Kids Fishing Day is for younger kids and is at a small sunfish/bluegill pond on the Nockamixon State park Property. MI50 does conduct Muskie Fishing Schools and I believe that we are looking to schedule one in the Fall. Tom Peacock heads up that event.

Mike, I'll be there. I can bring my cameras to take pics/vids.

Anyone planning on fishing after? I haven't fished Nox yet and wondering if I would be good with just my electric motors. If not maybe someone that has fished there before would be nice enough to take me out if they plan on fishing 8)

Thanks for helping out Chris. Peacock and Keith ( Delaware Eyes), are probably two good guys, that will be there, who could help you out. I think they fish there often.
