Don't forget all you "trout freaks", today is the first day of trout, so don't be out there throwing your rainbow baits today [[%&]], rather when you drive by tour local trout stream today, don't forget to get those cowgirls out, and start wipping them around, in the mass of elbow to elbow one day of fishing a year , so called fishing outdoorsmen , today. Only KIDDING!!! If you're by chance taking your kids out today, be safe, there are a lot of "nuts" out there today. Unfortunately, my son is one of those nuts out there today. Can't get him to hunt for muskies, but does his once a year trout trek with his buddies.

Well, my kid got back from trout fishing, caught 4, and he gave them to one of his friends. He should have brought them home... would have been some nice Musky baits !!!

It's really unbeivable how trout were all I fished for most of my life, and I loved catching them! Panther martins were deadly...but now, it's all about the muskies. I want to fish for trout, but always end up fishin for the big predators...muskies really skrew you up. 🙂 [[[ [[[

Ya, the muskies really mess you up! This was the first time since I'm 7 that I didn't partake in the opening day of trout. And I can honestly say I didn't miss it at all. Instead we hit up the Susky. No luck yesterday, instead I had alot of motor trouble >:( and ended up bushwhacking while I watched Ben and Tomko drift by. :'( And I still didn't miss the trout circus. LATER ON
