Hey,
What a waste. Unfortunately the fish was probably hooked, in error, by someone who was not fishing for musky and didn't have the appropriate line or equipment to safely battle it, catch it and release it. Just another example of why those that are caught, in an appropriate manner, should be returned to the water unharmed to make up for those that don't survive.
