I know it's a little early, but with New Year's and the Playoff Football ...EAGLES..., I figured I would put a tentative agenda up for your "enjoyment", being that it is that wonderful time of year!!! At this point I don't know where our meeting will be yet, but will assume at Casey's, unless told otherwise.

1. Valley Forge Show
a) availability
b) fund raiser idea ( donate baits for raffle)
c) scheduler ( Dieter ? )
d) donations for raffle

2. Any updates from State regarding our babies

4. MI 50 Christmas party wrapup
5. 2009 Team Competitions
a) rules
6. 2008 Team Results
a) Where and When dinner
7. President search
a) Interested members
8. Your thoughts on any new ideas ?

George,

Don't take this wrong, but I think we should push the kids event to the Feburary meeting. I think we have our hands full with the show and this meeting should be all about it. I will be at the meeting and hope we get a nice turnout..

SO LET IT BE WRITTEN!!!!! SO LET IT BE DONE!!!!

Couldn't agree more.

Puff...The Youth Day discussions will now be addressed at Feb. meeting, and should be stricken from the original agenda.

Regarding item 6 a) the Team Results where and when dinner: us Muskie Fools talked about it, and came to the realization that it would be next to impossible to make it to Crawdaddys. Living 5 hours a way, I only make to PA a couple of times a year, usually over a holiday or just fishing the entire time.
The Team Competition is a lot of fun, and it’s just great seeing everyone excited about musky fishing. We decided that instead of the dinner, if the other other folks who joined the competition in 2008 want to donate $3 to the club, that would be great. With the amount of people in the Team Competition, the grand total of everyone pitching in $3 would come to about the cost of dinner (not including the drinks of course, LOL ;D)

Really, it was a lot of fun and thanks again Sebastian for keeping it going and good luck to everyone in 2009!

Too bad our team is broken up now :'( But thanks for being great teammates Silvia and Gary, I'll always be a Muskie Fool at Heart.

$3 ???

5 losing teams, 3 people per team = $45.00. That is a pretty cheap dinner for the 3 winning team members. If I had won, the dinner would have been more than $45. 😉

I think we can do better than that!!!

Sorry guys, I won't be at our meeting tonight. I fell at work today on the ice , the same shoulder I ripped up earlier , a couple of weeks ago! I'm in pretty much pain, hopefully my doctor will hook me up with some good pain pills! Right now, I'm not sure of my status for next week ( Sports Show). As soon as I know, I'll let you know.
Tim, I'll try to contact you about getting my baits to you.
Thanks

I'm not going to make it either. The roads up here are just too icy! I'm not going to take a chance on that long of a drive. I hope the meeting goes well tonight. Hope you are all having a Happy New Year! I know I am!!! At least I have a legitimate excuse. Not "I've got a boo-boo!!! ;D

Hey,

Now, now boys, let's play nice. If George has a boo-boo, who are we to argue? Seriously George, I hope your shoulder isn't too busted up because that would seriously curtail your fishing.
