Do what I do. Buy the lures yourself and when the package arrives tell her that she can:
A: Keep the package from you so she can wrap the baits for you to open at Xmas
B: Watch you open the box now for immediate use. She can then buy you those socks and sweaters you have been dying to get!!!
In the case of musky lures, never leave it up to a woman!!!!
