You have fish around them. remember last year River Muskie catching a nice fish between the ice flows in febuary I think . well if its to cold for you . i usually check all my lures hooks for being sharp. check line and or change the line. lube reels. well that won't take long so youll have to find some open water to try your new line and sharp hooks. Also Ft wash sport show is in town now till sunday. Spring will be here before you know it. GO EAGLES Musky Matt

Hey,

Well Tom, here's what I've been doing, see if it works for you. Go to Cabelas website, buy a rod building kit, set it on a shelf for a year and a half and then break it out in the dead of the winter and get started. Make sure, as I have, to take the time to think over exactly how you want it to look and feel. Then after a year and nine months, just dig in. Get the eyes almost in a row, as I have, take multi-colored threads and add all the gawdy "bling" as you want....as I have. Make sure you don't have friends that call you in the middle of your "bling" work, as I have!!!
Before you know it, two years will have passed and you won't have minded the winters in between!!!!

What I wanted to say was take a road trip and check out new spots to fish later this year when there are descent water levels and temperatures. And you can never have those hooks sharp enough,so grab a file and do some fileing.

Just don't let your wife catch you playing with your giant jackpot or your tallywacker in the bathroom!

I don't think my wife would quite understand why I'm locked in the bathroom sharpening my tallywhacker! Or smoothing out my Bull Dawg. Or working with Molly. Or fluffing my boo tail.
And I'm sure she will never forgive me for spending time there with Grandma! [[^]

I have been following Kentucky sites every day but those guys don't let it fly like us but I am picking up a little info here and there. Tom
