I AM A NEWBIE TO MUSKIE FISHING INCLUDING BAITCASTING REELS. I HAVE ALWAYS USED SPINCASTING GEAR UNTIL
I DECIDED TO GEAR UP FOR MUSKIES. WHEN I PURCHASED MY ABU GARCIA 6500C REEL I BOUGHT A RIGHT HANDED MODEL NOT REALIZING THAT YOU WOULD BE CRANKING WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND AND WORKING THE ROD WITH YOUR LEFT.
I WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP A LEFT HANDED MODEL SO I CAN KEEP WITH THE SAME MOTIONS AS SPIN CASTING.
WITH THAT SAID I HAVE A BRAND NEW ABU GARCIA RIGHT HANDED MODEL (CRANKS WITH THE LEFT HAND)
THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SELL. I USED IT ONCE AND THAT WAS SATURDAY FOR MUSKIE SCHOOL.
ANYONE INTERESTED CAN CONTACT ME AT 215-538-9707 IN THE EVENING OR 267-474-9598 DURING THE DAY
ASK FOR DAVE...
I WANT $85 FOR IT, THE COST I PAID FOR IT...

Wow, have you got me confused with the rights and lefts! You have a left handed reel (cranks with the left hand) and want to switch to a right hand crank?
Current muskie wisdom prefers the left hand crank. Most of us are right handed, meaning that we will cast with our right thumb on the reel. In order to crank with the right hand we then have to SWITCH hands. With a left hand crank you don't have to switch hands, just cast and retrieve all day. Most of us are buying left handed reels as our next reel just for that reason. It saves time and energy. My advice is to keep your reel and learn to crank with the left. Ultimately you will end up happier.

We may only see what we look for.

TO CLARIFY IT IS A RIGHT HANDED RETREIVE. I WOULD MUCH PREFER TO CRANK WITH MY LEFT HAND SO I CAN
WORK THE ROD WITH MY RIGHT. ANYONE INTERESTED GIVE ME A SHOUT.MATT L KNOWS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
WE DISCUSSED IT ON THE BOAT SATURDAY....
