I picked up a few lures from Cabelas, one being the Muskie Innovations Chatterbait.
Upon removing it from the package, I noticed the aluminum blade which the leader attaches to is attached directly to the jig eye without any reinforcement. Seems like it wouldn't take much for the jig eye to rip through the aluminum blade upon a strike or setting the hook. Has anyone had experience using these or perhaps offer any tips to reinforce the connection?
