Found a guy who may give Smeagles a run for the money. He advertises 18" trolling lures and is coming out with 18" glide baits.
Check out the website: http://www.danczyk-lures.com/.
If someone buys one, bring it to the meeting so we can check it out!
Thanks!

Hey Barry,

Uh, that bad boy is a little out of my price range. I'll wait for my Smeagle. Tom, on the other hand, will probably get a full collection of these in all the colors of the rainbow!!!! [[[

Dave, I wasn't going to buy one either, I just wanted to make our more affluent members (or those with musky sickness) aware that they are out there. I also wanted to get a close look at one. I'm sure Tom will end up with one!

Not a bad price for the smaller gliders if they're as nice as they look. I think I might buy a few and check it out. Some of the paint jobs look real nice. Has anyone ever seen these baits? -Eric

I have an 8" glider in a largemouth pattern. It's a very nice glider with a little shimmy on the pause.
If I can make the next meeting I'll bring it.

There's a bunch of his lures on ebay ending tonight, just in case anybody's interested.
Some really nice colors and cheaper than his website.

Hey Guys
I have been getting lures from Chad at http://www.danczyk-lures.com/. I have raised a few fish on the 8" gliders and got a 10" recently and it is sweet in the water. A great glide and roll similar to the more expensive gliders with an enticing shimmer on te fall. I also have one trolling bait 12" or so runs great but no fish yet. His quality is great, I change the hooks and rings just cos I like bigger ones but that is it. I bid on ebay and also order direct. I like giving fellow fisherman my business as opposed to the faceless mass produced stuff. I had a problem with two lures he sent me but he is replacing them and making good on them with no cost to me. My pocket just aint deep enough to get the BIG ONES, maybe after I get my tax return back!

Some days it is not about how good you are, but how bad you want it!

Just bought a 10" glider on ebay. I'll bring it to the next meeting for all to inspect.
