I am new at Musky fishing, however, I am very experienced at bass and northern. I will be fishing on lake in Southeast WI over Thanksgiving. Are there any tips you can give me on what to use where to go, this will be my first musky fishing trip.

Thank you

Lucas

Hi Lucas,

My advise for you is turn around and run as fast as you can, while there's still time. 😉

Keep going after those northern and bass, and give up any hopes of ever catching a musky. Trust me on this, you don't want to catch that first ski. I'm just trying to save you from a life time of musky fever, which is uncurable as far as I know.

Good luck on the smallies!! {{#%}}

Lucas,

My advise is this. If you can accept rejection and like to cast, lots, this sport is for you.

If you don't, pick another fish. I keep saying to myself, "If it was easy, everbody would do it!!".

Words to live by for a musky fisherman or fisherwoman
