I had i little time this weekend to play with some of my new jerk baits.I'm woundering how others work theses baits.Amma bama.It seemed to work best for me with short pulls as opposed to jerks or twitches.Punisher.The maker of this bait told me it needs turns of your reel handle. No rod action at all.I did notice that the higher you held your rod tip up,the higher the bait stayed and the lower the rod tip the deeper the bait went.I got the amma bama in 7" grey gost like jeff told me too.How do you work these baits???Thanks Bob

I got it from Tony Grant.I dont remember the guys name who makes it.Call Pastikas and ask for Rich. That guy knows his stuff. They may have it.I know the other people have it but i dont want to have to hunt you down.Smokeys is were he works and i'm sure they have them also but try Pastikas first.Bob

The Punisher is only available at Smokey's as far as I know. It is a very big Jerk bait 8"+and heavy. They are expensive $30.00 but run pretty nice or so I'm told. A bait that is very similar, the Hughes River Shaker is an awesome glide bait that is pretty similar to the Punisher. It is very expensive, $55-$60 + but they are all guaranteed to run perfect and have unbelievable paint jobs. It all depends if you think the money is worth the quality. They have 6",8" and 10"models in thin and normal widths. The thin can be run extremely erractically. They can be hard to find but I can help you contact a good supplier of these baits. I will bring a couple to the next meeting if people are interested.
