Bob can we also have a raffle for a rod? Figure the total cost, divide by $10 or $20 and figure that is the minimum tickets we need to sell. I know a couple of guys at my work that would contribute to that effort. Thanks J

Two combos have been sold.We have a cabelas rod,6'4".A very nice rod for 45.00 dollars.A fig rig rod,model not known yet and a 6500 c4 to go with either rod.If your buying a new set up for x-mass,think about one of theses.Bob

how do you figure the musky rod,for eastern pa area fishing maybe some traveling......lenght,line wt etc action.i have seen many musky taken on bass gear but i assume this is not the norm........maybe something that can double as light saltwater oor cats....

Hey stfish,
Most of us fish with baitcasting outfits. A heavy baitcasting rod with AbuGarcia or Shimano reels. I'm not the expert around here but that is basically what you're looking for. Combine the rod/reel combo with a good braided fishing line in the 65 to 85 pound class range and steel leaders and you have what you need.
