These are NOT the fake bulldawg rods from a few years ago, these are Tackle Industries and very good rods. If I can get a deal on a club puchase I'll bring it to the next meeting.

Spoke with James Haworth, the owner of TI. Tom's correct that last years deal was a closeout special so we will not see rods at 50% off but he will offer us 30% off on all rods and tackle. He's emailing me the order form today. Stay tuned for updates if you're interested in ordering. I really hope to be at the Dec meeting but you never know.
I will repeat what Tom Peacock said, my 7'9" TI Jerkbait rod is my favorite rod right now. Wish I had picked up a few more rods at those prices. The jerkbait rod is now 7'6".
8) As an added bonus he asked if we do any charitable or kids events. I filled him in and he will provide lots of prizes for next years Kids Day. He will be putting out some bass rods and lures for the first time in 2014, so I told him they would be more appropriate for the kids.

Tackle Industries emailed us last night with a better club offer:
* All lures at 50% off retail
* 6' youth muskie rods at $40
* All 7' and 7'6" rods at $85
* All 8'6" and 9' rods at $95
TI will also pay a portion of the shipping for all club orders. As usual, we will also throw in a few extra items for all club orders for raffles and auctions. The more you order, the more free tackle we will add to the shipment.
Please look at the website for Tackle Industries and write down the rod and lure model numbers and description of what you want to order. I should be at the 12/4 meeting and will be taking orders from anyone who wants to place one. Have cash or check in hand. I'll work with Silvia if the club wants to make any purchases for raffles, Oaks show or the auction as well.

I'm probably out Mike. I looked at the TI site and all he has are the full grip up to the 9'ers, boooo. Was after another split. Sam was interested in one also, but I gotta check with him to see if he'll want a full.
